It is an identifiable tree in our forests by its height, can develop in its adult state in great proportions, being able to reach 45 meters in height and diameters up to 2 meters. Its wood widely used for many years allowed to qualify it as one of the most resistant woods. The oak of dark pink colors and presence of light colors, result of young wood is used in the making of different products such as: floors, claddings, moldings, doors and windows, wooden steps, pillars and structural beams.
